Refund & Cancellation

1. Order Cancellations

Customers can request order cancellation before the shop has accepted and started preparing/packing the items. Once an order is accepted and marked as "Preparing" by the shop owner, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

2. UPI Refund Processing

Refunds are only applicable for orders where payment was completed successfully via UPI, and the order was cancelled prior to shop acceptance.

Please note that refunds are processed directly from the respective shop owner's UPI merchant account, not by the AapnaAonla platform. Once initiated, the refund will take **5-7 business days** to credit back to your original bank account.

3. Post-Delivery Refund Criteria

Refunds or exchanges are not permitted for delivered orders unless one of the following conditions is met:

  • The delivered product was completely wrong or did not match the ordered item.
  • The product packaging was severely damaged, unsealed, or leaked prior to delivery.
  • The product (especially food/confectionery items) was spoiled or unfit for human consumption.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery orders are not eligible for any online refunds through the AapnaAonla platform. Any disputes or cash returns must be negotiated and settled directly between the customer and the shop owner at the time of delivery.

5. Platform Role

AapnaAonla acts solely as a mediator. In case of disputes regarding refunds, customers can submit evidence (photos of wrong/damaged goods) to our support team. We will work with the merchant to verify the claim and coordinate a resolution.
